Andrea Litto

Founding member and advisor

Andrea moved to the Bay Area in 1995 from São Paulo, Brazil to continue her education in the US in the culinary arts and photography. She started her own catering business where she began to build her strong network and collaborate with many of Silicon Valley’s marquis investors, high profile companies, and many prominent tech entrepreneurs. She became increasingly integrated and known in the startups and innovation community of Silicon Valley. She founded SiliconHouse in 2012 which specializes in using its unique network of distinguished influencers to connect people, entrepreneurs, and companies to innovation and business opportunities in Silicon Valley. In her 28 years of Silicon Valley, she has also served on the board of two non-profits: Hospital for Hope and Brazilian Women Collective. Giving back and having a positive impact is what motivates her. It is her dream come true when passion meets work, and when the output is getting help to those who need it.

Angela Teodoro

Founding member and executive director

Angela Teodoro was born and raised in Santos, a coastal town close to São Paulo in Brazil. She moved to the United States 12 years ago, where she has built a career in the technology industry, working across various areas, including marketing, communications, enablement and strategy & operations. Her passion for making a positive impact in the world led her to found BRAVE, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting connection, information, and support to Brazilian immigrant women living in the Bay Area. As a proud parent of two children, Angela demonstrates resilience and determination in balancing her professional pursuits and family responsibilities.

Graphic artist and animal rights advocate with a strong commitment to community engagement. As a Meta Certified Community Manager, Luciana combines her artistic vision with expertise in digital community-building to foster inclusive online spaces

Karine Santos

Advisor

Karine is from Rio Grande do Sul and has lived in Silicon Valley since 2013. She was an attorney in Brazil specialized in labor and employment law where she provided preventive legal information to her clients. Since 2014, she has been a BRAVE volunteer supporting Brazilian women immigrants and it was then that she discovered her passion for helping immigrants and for immigration law. She is currently an Immigration Specialist. She has worked with multiples business corporations across the U.S. and abroad to help foreign nationals obtain Work visas.

Patricia Dringoli

Advisor

Patricia Arnellas was born in São Paulo and moved to California 8 years ago with her husband. He started his career in Digital Marketing more than a decade ago when he finished her Master in Spain, where she lived for a year. Since then, he has worked in companies of different sizes and industries, and current work in technology. As soon as she arrived, she had the opportunity to meet some BRAVE collaborators and it was through the community that she made great friendships. In 2020, shortly before the pandemic, she started to collaborate in communications and recently joined the BWC board. She loves spending time outdoors and being active, her current hobbies are surfing, hiking and practicing yoga. To balance that she likes to draw mandalas or watch a beautiful sunset at the beach as a mindful and relaxing therapy.

Raissa Kahn

Raissa Kahn obtained her degree in Manufacturing Engineering in 2007 and subsequently earned an MBA in Quality Management to expand her knowledge and skills. With over 20 years of experience working in the production operations area, Raissa has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality. Currently residing in the heart of technology innovation, Silicon Valley, for almost a decade, Raissa is passionate about contributing to and caring for her local community. She created 2 projects women focused: Shared Care (that gives hygiene bags for women in need) and Luana (that assist Brazilian victims of domestic violence). Both projects became part of BWC/Brave as she joined the team volunteering on social causes.
